It was rather early but Madison had woken a couple of hours ago and could go back to sleep so rather than staying in her room she had decided to come down for breakfast.
Even though it was early there where a few students and Professors dotted about the hall, Madison walked down to the Professors table her robes flowing behind her as she took a seat and glanced around. It was her first teaching job and she really wanted it to go well.
She poured herself some juice and watched the students with interest pushing her red hair from her face. Today she was having her first class with the older students and she had prepared something interesting for their first lesson. She took a slice of toast and started to butter it.

Keiko walked into the great hall and walked over to the staff table and sat down next to another staff member. It was her first day, and she liked making good first impressions. SHe smield at the young woman and introduced herself. [b]Hello, I'm Keiko. I am Head of Ravenclaw and teach Ancient Runes. You?[b/] SHe sat down next to her and started gathering some chicken on her plate.

Madison glanced over at the professor that had sat beside her “Oh Hello” she said “Im Madison Leroy” she added after the girl introduced herself. “I’m currently teaching Herbology but I’m also head of Gryffindor” she said glancing over the hall “Your up early” she said after a moments thought.

Keiko laughed and tilte her head. Well, so are you, She bit into a piece of chicken and dabbed her mouth with a napkin. Nice to meet you, so how long have you been teaching here?
