Talking(Severus)

[Tonks]

Tonks came through the hallway to the Staute she went through a few Passwords but finally came to the right one.She smiled and stepped onto the Statue as it went up.She kept thinking of what she was going to say.She came up to the level to where the Headmaster's office was.

She followed the Hallway and she thought a moment and Turned into a student as not to be to discret,Remus didn't even know she was making this trip to see the New Headmaster Severus Snape.She had turned into a girl about 6th year with blonde hair.Her eyes were a emerald green.Every student who passed she smiled at.Her eyes Dazzling.

Finally she came up to the HeadMaster's office.She made sure no one was coming and she changed back to her normal heart-shaped face self.She fixed her hair and she changed it to her normal suprisingly Mousy brown.She kept her eyes that dazzling Emerald green.


She knocked hoping he was in and she waited for the answer to come in.She kept looking down the halls in case Narcissa MAlfoy came up.Or another Death Eater.She felt she had to risk it.She needed to know if the plot to kill Dumbledore was completely his fault or if another Death Eater.She waited and turned to leave.But then she heard an answer inside and she went in.She saw Severus and she didn't belive what she saw.It was Dumbledore and him and Severus were talking."And this is normal how?"she asked as she closed the door and put a spell on it to make sure no one else heard their lovely coming Conversaion.

[Severus Snape]

Severus was chatting with Dumbledore when Tonks walked in. Severus looked over at her. Dumbledore was trying his hardest not to laugh. Severus looked at her, and so did Dumbledore. Severus then looked at Dumbledore "i really have no choice, but to tell her Albus" Dumbldore nodded "Very well Severus your right. After all she did catch us, and its apparent that im not mad at you for doing it, but it can't leave this room. If this is to work correctly no one must know the truth" he said smiling then looking back at tonks.

"Fine i'll tell you as long as it does not leave this room. If you must you can tell other Order Members, but they have to be the ones you know wont say anything about it. If this gets out then well I'll most likley be dead. If Narcissa or Bellatrix find out the truth about the night on the Astronomy Tower then we're all screwed" Severus said

Severus looked up at Tonks before he started spaking "Its Normal because i killed Dumbledore on Dumbldores orders. Yes Dumbledore told me to kill him. I told him it wasn't a very good idea, but he wouldn't let me back out of it. He said i had to do it. He only had about a year to live anyway because of some sort of curse" Severus said. He knew if this got into the wrong hands. Then they would all be finished.

[Tonks]

Tonks looked back to Dumbledore and then to Snape and back to Dumbledore.She watched them talk and then Snape turned to her.She expected to be yelled out.but When he said,
"Fine i'll tell you as long as it does not leave this room."She sighed and decided to listen to him.

Tonks nodded and she went up to the Desk.And she watched Severus.She watched and waited for him to begin.She watched and she listened."Its Normal because i killed Dumbledore on Dumbldores orders. Yes Dumbledore told me to kill him. I told him it wasn't a very good idea, but he wouldn't let me back out of it. He said i had to do it. He only had about a year to live anyway because of some sort of curse"

She watched and then when he stopped she looked back to Dumbledore and then to Severus,Then back to Dumbledore.She waited for Albus to confirm what he has just told her.She sighed and then looked at Severus."He probably told you to kill him,Because.He would much rather die an Honored death than a death that would kill him slowly and painfully,Right?"She asked.

[Severus Snape]

Severus didn't have time to reply to that. Dumbledore had started to talk, so Severus just stayed quiet. He knew everyone thought he was really on the Death Eaters side, but he wasn't. The night that Lily was murdered was what changed it all. When he lost his best friend he vowed he would make sure that she didn't die for no reason. Dumbledore then convinced him to help protect Harry so that she wouldn't die in Vain. Severus agreed to it he may not have gotten along well with James, but he did what Dumbldore asked him to anyway.


Dumbledore nodded at that "Yes actually i did, either way i was going to die, and I would rather die at his hand than any other Death Eater. I was cursed so badly i only had a year to live if that. I also figured that if HE was the one to kill me that the Death Eaters would really think that he betrayed me. I planned the whole thing. Severus didn't want to do it at first, but i made him promise," Dumbledore said "It worked too i mean they made him Headmaster. They don't know the truth of what happend that night infact no one does not even Harry, and he was up there when it all happend" Dumbdledore said a few seconds later "Harry thought i was begging for my life probably, but insted i was begging for Severus to take it" Dumbledore said a few seconds later

[Tonks]

Tonks watched severus and then dumbledore.She listened to what he had to say.She nodded every now and then.She paused a moment to think and then she asked a question,that she had been dying to ask."Before Albus told you to kill him,were you asked be anyone else to do so?"She asked.

"Also,what were you doing to get cursed?"She shuddenly asked.She hadn't mean't too."Sorry Albus,you don't have to tell me if you don't want to,it's not my business."She said covering her hand on her mouth.She watched again.Then she asked."Are you ever going to let Harry know?"She asked.Knowing it wouldn't be right to tell Harry herself.She decided if he was not going to tell him,then she wouldn't.

She watched,and listened.She suddnelluy understood her dreams."I have been thinking he killed him.Not that Dumbledore might have wanted to be killed in Honor,because she had seen him a few times with the withered hand.

[Severus Snape]

(i dont recall the memories that were in the 7th book being in the 6th book. They may have been but because of that i dont know who came to him first im gonna make it up.)

"Before Dumbledore asked me no, but after i left the office saying id think about it. I still wasn't so sure of the idea. Narcissa came to my house very worried. Draco was the one who was supposed to kill him. It was his mission, and even though he confided in no one Dumbledore somehow figured it out. Anyway she was upset about it. She knew why he had been given the mission. It was to punish Lucius for messing up at the minstry. Voldemort didn't expect him to do it. He expected him to fail the mission. She asked me to finish it if Draco couldn't. I knew it wasn't a good idea, but Dumbeldore found out aboout it all somehow, and thats when he wouldn't let me back out." Severus replied. "I switched sides long ago. Something happend which no id rather not talk about made me feel different about that man. I hated him since then. I went to Dumbleodre and asked for help, and well he gave it to me, and in return ive been spying on Voldemort for all these years when in reality he thinks ive been spying on Dumbledore, but ive been feeding him fake information insted."

Dumbeldore looked at her when she asked him the Question "No its really ok Tonks, what it comes down to is. I was searching for something that would help destroy the dark lord, and well something went wrong when i found it. I wasn't sure if it was cursed on purpous or not. The curse couldn't be reversed. Severus stopped it from spreading any further than my hand, but i still only had about a year to live with everything that was going on Id most likley be dead right now anyway even if i hadn't told Severus to kill me"

Severus didn't say anything else. He didn't know what else TO say. He got really quiet again. He just hoped she wouldn't ask questions as to WHY he had switched sides. It was still a very hard topic for him to discuss. It made him feel very bad for what he had done. He had learned his lesson from it of course. I mean he had lost his childhood bestfriend, how else did you expect him to react. He knew none of the Order members knew why Dumbledore trusted Snape so much. Snape asked him not to say anything about it. If people ever found out about his love for Lily, and what he had done. He wanted it to come from him.

[Tonks]

(I can't think of anything to write Severus I am just mused out,I'll try and post later promise.)

Tonks looked at Severus and Dumbledore in turn."I promise I won't tell a soul,Unless I have to."She said looking at both of them."I will keep your secrets."She said looking at them."And you are avoiding my question.Are you going to tell harry or not?"She asked.

Tonks watched them to see what they would do."He does have a right to know,He thinks you are the worst person right now Severus,Everyone does."She said looking at him."But you are not a bad person."She said looking down.

"I always felt really bad when James used to tease you.I don't know how he could do it.You weren't doing anything wrong."She sighed."I was too shy to even tell him to stop."She felt a tear come to her eyes."I knew it was wrong,but I didn't say a thing.Does that make me a bad person?"She asked not knowing she did.

[Severus Snape]

"No see thats the thing he hates me right now yes, but its a lot more than you think he does. Its not because of what happend with Dumbledore that night on the Astronomy Tower. Sure yes thats part of it, but the main thing to him most likley is the fact that...." Severus started to say. He wasn't sure how exactly to word this, so he stoped for a mintue, and looked down. Severus had only told Dumbledore this. He wasn't sure if he was ready to tell anyone else, but since that Question came up he had to.

Severus sighed and continued to look down "He overheard that i was the one who told Voldemort of the Prohocey. Im not sure when, or how, but he did. Im sure he thinks i did it on purpouse or something, or becasue i always hated his father. which for the record no i didnt because of that. i didn't even know how he would intrupert it. I didn't think he would go after James and Lily, and sure me and James never really got along, and we pretty much hated eachother, But never not once would i EVER wish a fate on him such as that, and i never told anyone this, and few knew of this, but me and Lily were best friends up until our 5th year at Hogwarts. After that I said some things which i didn't mean, but she refused to speak to me, and even though i may not have been on talking terms with her when she was killed. If i would have known sooner about what exactly that Prohocey was i wouldn't have said anything to anyone. I didnt know that he would go after them" he said quietly looking down. He hadn't told anyone but Albus this, but she had to understand exactly where Harry was comming from to Harry Severus was the one that pretty much sold out his parents. He may not have killed them, or have given away their hiding place, but he did tell Voldemort the Prohocey.


Severus wasn't sure how she would react to this. Dumbledore got over it, but he knew that Severus didn't mean to do it. He knew how he felt about Lily. He hoped that subject about Lily wouldn't come up. He hoped she wouldn't ask why he seemed to be so upset with her Death. Yes he would be upset but most people didn't think he would be THIS upset about it. you could tell that the subject really was making him upset. Severus wasn't one to show emotions yet he was having a hard time trying not to just break down.

He looked up at Tonks again when he heard her ask him 'Does that make me a bad person?'. Severus was suprised she would ask such a thing. Tonks wasn't a bad person. He didn't know where all of this was comming from. He looked at her and shook his head "No now why would you think that?" he said. He really didn't understand why she would ask that. Does she think she's a bad person for not saying anything?. Its not like it would have stoped James.

[Tonks]

Tonks looked up a few tears filled her eyes."Because most of the times when I was sitting beside my favorite tree,he was picking on you.I hated it when people picked on others,especially you."She sighed."Out of all of the people that other people pick on,you didn't need to be one of them.If you remember I get picked on too."She said refering to her Half-blood state.

She wiped her tears away."But when James would pick on you I would just stay quiet,I wanted to help,I helped everyone else who got picked on.But not you.,and I am sorry for that."She sighed."I could understand that you were probably upset when You-Know-Who killed Lily."She sighed."I was too.She was one of my best friends."She sighed.


"I had hoped you wouldn't be mad at me for saying this,but I can understand some what,of what you have to go through.And that I am sorry I Doubted you hadn't had a reason to kill Dumbledore.He trusted you and we should too."She said looking at him."Or at least IShould have."She sighed and wiped her face.

[Severus Snape]

Severus looked at her after she said all of that. He shook his head "No it doesn't make you a bad person not at all. No one ever stood up for me until Lily did, but i was so involved with Lucius and them that i ended up saying things i never met to say and ending a childhood friendship over saying words i never thought would come out of my mouth, even as a slytherin just to impress some bone headed idiots, so no im not mad" Severus said after she was done telling him all of that.

Severus sighed "Oh, and her death affected me a lot more than you think it did. The day after her death was the day i went to Dumbledore. After what that man did i couldn't follow him anymore. I couldn't do what he told me. I thought of him differently after that, not that i was very much fond of him in the first place. I orignally was sent here to spy on Dumbledore, but when that happend i changed and started to spy on You Know Who. The Day i went to go see him Dumbledore said don't let her die in vain. Help me protect her only living son. I may not be to fond of Harry, but i agreed to do it anyway." He said kind of quietly. The main reasons why Severus was never really nice to Harry was because well he thought he was like is father, but after Harry found out what Severus had done all those years ago when he heard the Prohocey about the one who could vanquish the Dark Lord.

"Then last year happend. I really didn't know what Albus was thinking when asking me to kill him. I really didn't want to not becasue of how the Order, and what not would react. I really didn't care about that, or how the Death Eaters would react. It was more becasue he was the only other person besides Lucius and Lily who were ever really nice to me no matter what it was that i did, or how i acted, and I mean i would still make sure Draco got out of everything, or even Dumbleodre would have because as much as he tries I know he isn't like his father. He tries so hard to make his dad proud, but i honestly think that his hearts never in it. He's like stuck between good an evil. When i got there he had already disarmed him, but hadn't said the curse. My guess is Albus said he could help help him maybe thats why he didn't do right after he disarmed him.

"Dumbeldore told him that if he was gonna kill him he would have done it after he disarmed him. He eventually talked him out of it considering how he looked when we all got up there. I only heard part of the Conversation as i was down in the school, but everyone who was up there knows he couldn't do it. Like if it were Lucius up there as a kid im sure he would have. He wouldn't have stoped to chat. He would't regret trying to do it. he would have done it" He said

"The very last time i spoke to Lily i really don't know what came over me, but she defended me against James told him to grow up or something, and i turn around and call her a mudblood ever since then not only have i regreted it, but i flip out at anyone EVEN Lucius when they say that word infront of me" He wondered if Tonks would know what he ment by that. He wonderded if she ever knew he was in love with Lily. "When i realized he was gonna go after them i asked Dumbleodre to hide them all yes even James. I may not have been his best friend, and we may have hexed and hated eachother, but honestly that didn't mean i wanted him dead. The plan worked up until Peter gave away the location. I honestly don't know why they had picked him to be their secrect keeper, sure i can understand why they didn't pick Sirius" Severus said and saying his first name for probably the first time "and it was smart not to people would automatically asume it was him if they did, or even if they didn't after all he was James's best friend, but Peter that was one of the bigest mistake. I think they would have been better of with Remus as their secrect keeper. He would have never turned their backs on them, or they could of even had another Order Member as their secrect keeper" Severus said.

[Tonks]

Tonks listened and she wipped a few tears from her face and it started to clear up.but very slowly."I always wanted to follow in Lily's footsteps,even though she wasn't a pure-blood,she was one of the best witches I have ever known."She said remembering her school days.She shook her head."Scary thoughts when you go back to thinking about school."

She looked back at Snape."I never really agreed with what they did.But it was their choice and I guess,it was more Peters Fault then anyone elses.I would have died then betray anyone I was close to,or if we were even an inch close I would still as long as I knew it was for the greater good."She smiled.

"I actually came here because I wanted to yell at you,but you know what?I don't think I could have the heart."She said smiling."I think,if you are done explaining I will go back to Head quarters and sleep the rest of the year away."She smiled.A twinkle came to her eyes."Hoping to have a little peace and quiet."
