Amiel Phelps wandered along the third floor, humming to herself. It had been a quiet week but it was stressful all the same. This year was her seventh year and that meant N.E.W.T year. She shuddered at the thought of the exams and if her brother Angelo had been right then they would be completely horrible and she would have no chance of passing at all. Before she knew it she had wandered into the Forbidden Corridor, a part of the third floor that was, naturally, forbidden. Amy wasn't sure why it was forbidden and if the rumours that were circulating Hogwarts were true then whatever danger lurked within was long gone by now.
Amy had never been much of a rule breaker, that was a job for Elijah, her older twin brother who was older than her by two minutes and, in her opinion, was slighly goofy even at the best of times. She sighed as she continued, if people like Harry Potter and her own brother could venture into these parts then surely Amy herself could get in without any trouble she was, after all, a Phelps and, as it was with most of the family, once a Phelps made up their mind there was no changing it, though perhaps this was a little untrue for Amy herself. Ceasing humming as she entered the corridor a slight smirk on her face this is too easy she thought to herself.
She slipped into the darkness, the eerie silence seemed to wash over her, giving her a slight chill but she shrugged it off if they can do it so can I she kept repeating to herself, she knew that she could do it, it can't be that hard. After approximately ten minutes of just wandering around Kaylee stopped dead in her tracks, her whole body stiffened and she listened carefully, she was sure that she had just heard something moving behind her. It wasn't long before she let out a scream of fright, someone had appeared near her.
