AS far as the sixteen year old knew, she was the youngest in her class. Although she doesn't mind since she knows most of the older students, she still wished there was someone her age to hand around with when Harry, Hermione, and Ron run off and about on their secret business.
But there was nothing to do know but walk down the long corridor, a small smile on her face. The school was entirely different without Dumbledore, and the place was haunted by DE's which sucked the happiness out off everything happening. It was just not as much ...fun.
Rounding the last corner she spotted the open charms room. Looking into the classroom, she noted their was no professor present. Shaking her head she debated on if to go in or wait outside. In the end she walked in, and took a seat among the middle of the rows. The smile fainted on her lips, and her quill, and notebook were removed from her bag.

Ron Weasley had just left the Common room, after his short break before Charms. Hermione was probably coming from another class, and Harry..well, he didn't know where Harry was, but they would all be catching up soon he assumed. He hadn't yet been informed who the new Charms teacher was. But he knew it couldn't be good.
Heading down the stairs towards the third floor, he began thinking who it could be. Snape had DADA, Belatrix had Potions.....come to think of it, he hadn't found out what Narcissa Malfoy was. She never actually told him, just hinted that she was at the school. He knew she was Deputy Headmistress, but she must be teaching something as well?
He rounded the corner towards the Charms classroom, and peaked in. Ginny Weasley, his younger sister and fellow Gryffindor. He walked in, sitting next to her, and took in the room. No teacher. Then he looked at the board and groaned very noticeably.

Luna placed her timetable neatly back into the pocket of her black school robes. She smiled as she made her way to the Charms classroom. She had no idea that they had a new Professor, and so was quite looking forward to the class. She wondered if any of her few friends were in it...she certainly hoped so. Maybe she would avoid the nasty looks, which she had learned to ignore but sometimes made her feel bad when someone got to her.
She sighed lightly as she walked through the classroom door, so immersed in her thoughts that at first she did not recognise that the two only students currently present were two of her friends. Still smiling softly she walked over to them and took a seat on Ginny's other side. It was only then that she saw the name on the board...Narcissa Malfoy. She didn't know all that much about her but as her son never seemed to pleasant, especially after her fourth year when Professor Umbridge held them captive, she doubted she would too much like this class anymore.
It was a pity...she had always taken an interest in Charms. DADA had already been taken by Professor Snape, so she wasn't too fond of that subject anymore either. She acknowledged her two friends. "Hello Ginny, Hi Ron," she said softly. The classroom was empty apart from them...honestly she was thankful that their new Professor wasn't there yet.

Narcissa strolled down the corridor, a folder in her right hand and a pen in the other; she flicked her long blonde hair and entered the classroom. It appeared that half the class hadn’t arrived yet, she glanced at the clock on the wall, it was five past so they were at least 10 minutes late. Shaking her head she surveyed the students who had arrived at time…great the weasleys were there…
Walking around to the front of the classroom she placed her thing on the table and folded her arms as she spoke to the class.
“I am Professor Malfoy or Mrs Malfoy, you may address me as either” she started pursing her lips as she drew out her wand, “It seems that half of you cant be bothered to turn up on time and I am warning you now if you aren’t here before I am you will all be losing points. I’m not going to waste my time with students who aren’t willing to learn.”
She took a seat behind her desk placing her wand in front of her, “Now before we proceed does anyone have any questions?”

Ginny perched her lips together when she heard the words from the female Malfoy. Though this act was something Ginny normally did, it acted as a small barrier of saying something unkind to the women before her. The youngest Weasley knew that she had to respect the women who clearly had no respect for her or her family.
Sighing softly she pulled her notebook closer to her and glanced toward Ron and Luna, giving each of them a smile. Then she turned toward Narcissa or Mrs. Malfoy. Raising her hand she spoke up, "I know this is clearly none of my business, and just like the rest of your family you'll probably shoot me down, but why did you become a Charms professor? Don't you have anything better to do if your not a big fan of children?" she asked a bit harshly though curious. "Though Professor Malfoy, I'm trying to be rude, but I'm sure all of us here would like to know." She finished and made sure she choose her words wisely, a small grin tugged on her lips, though she didn't let it show

Narcissa folded her arms as she looked at the Weasley girl, she showed no sign of being displease she merely leant back in her seat and surveyed the girl.
Narcissa knew she couldn’t tell the students that Lord Voldemort had threatened her and her husband into taking up positions here. So instead she raised a single eyebrow and said “Because Hogwarts needs a Charms Professor and I am best suited for teaching you Charms” she said simply “Sorry, did you want to see my reference?” she asked dryly.
“Now if you don’t mind I’d like to start the lesson, turn to page 94 in your Charms textbook,” she said standing up and wiping the board clean.
“We will be learning the Concealment Charm, I’m assuming you can all give me a good definition of it” she looked around expectantly waiting for one of the students to reply.

Marti Witchly hurried into the classroom. She aplolgized to the Professor for being late. "Sorry Professor Malfoy!" she said. "My alarm wouldn't go off on time!" she added. She took a seat next to Ron Weasley. She unpacked her bookbag and set everything out that she needed. Grabbing a quill and some ink she opened up her notebook and got ready to jot down whatever Mrs. Malfoy told them to write.
