Keiko laughed. You're nearly more excited about it than me about the job! SHe said jokingly then went on to answer her cousin's questionss. I allready applied, but I am petty sure I got the job... I should get word soon, and I applied for Ravenclaw head of House and Ancient runes Professor! I an barely wait! She suddenly grew serious. But taht isn't the only reason I applied for hte job, I want to keep an eye on Snape She cringed at saying his name. When she had visited Cho many times before and had been a semi member of the order, she had met Snape and they had become friends. But then she had heard word that he had betrayed the order for the death eateers, and now they never spoke to each other. She ticghtened her hand to a fist at the thought of him. Then she relaexed, hoping Cho hadn't seen it.

Cho smiled and just shrugged. "I'm only so excited because I remember the only thing you use to talk about was wanting to teach." Cho shrugged again and listened as Keiko told her what position, or postions, she applied for. Cho smiled a little more hearing that she had applied to be head of house for Ravenclaw. She could definitely see Keiko as the head for Ravenclaw as she was sure that if Keiko had gone to Hogwarts that most likely would've been what house she got sorted into. "Well when you get the job I'll come and visit you. Although don't expect me to call you professor or something like that." She joked.
Cho noticed Keiko grow serious and she did as well, especially when she heard what Keiko said. Cho just nodded solemly and looked in front of her as they walked. She knew that Keiko had been friends with Snape when she first started visiting and had been somewhat of an Order member. Cho couldn't imagine how upset or probably angry she was over his betrayal of the Order. Cho glanced at Keiko and saw her hand clench into a fist before going back to normal. Cho ignored that and didn't say anything else. [/size] |

Keiko smiled when Cho replied. Yeah, well, I am guessing that won't happen. Keiko said laughing. SHe was flattered the Cho remembered Keiko's ramblings. So, enough about me, what about you, what are you doing now that you are done with hogwarts?

Cho's smile faltered slightly as Keiko asked about what she had been doing. Although she wasn't ashamed about her job she didn't like talking about it much, especially with her family. For years she had been going on and on about how she was going to be a professional quidditch player, even when some family members doubted her. And not being that yet made her feel embarassed and gave her some sense that she had failed, or if she didn't achieve her dream would fail soon enough.
"Working at the Three Broomsticks." Cho finally answered with a small shrug, not looking over at Keiko. She really didn't want to see what reaction she might have to what she was now doing.

Keiko noticed Cho's monotone reply. She glanced over at her then smiled, hoping to make her feel better. Great! Then I'll visit you at work and I'll visit you! SHe said enthusiastically. SHe then remembered her cousin saying things for a long time about her being a quidditch player. She felt sorry that she had forgot and mentioned it. SHe had faith in Cho though, she was a smart girl. SHe just dient know how to tell her that so she touched her shoulder gently and smiled.

Cho looked over at Keiko when she felt her touch her shoulder. She forced a small smile on her face and looked away. She wasn't sure if Keiko would be able to tell that it was a completely forced and fake smile but she didn't care too much either. She knew that Keiko wouldn't rub it in that Cho hadn't accomplished her plans yet but she still felt embarassed by it, and annoyed at the same time. Cho knew that if things had gone how she had planned, or hoped for two things would be very different. One would be she would be playing for the Tutshill Tornadoes and Cedric would still be alive.

Keiko extracted her hand from Cho's shoulder slowly when Keiko saw Cho's forced smile. It hurt her to see her cousin like this, she hadn't meant it in a mean way. She looked at the floor and started walking, experiencing an awkward moment. SHe looked at Cho out of the corner of her eye. wanna talk about it?

Cho shook her head at Keiko's offer. "No thanks... can we just talk about something else?" She asked, looking over at Keiko again. Cho didn't like talking about certain things, especially ones that brought up memories of Cedric. Her job didn't really bring up memories of him, but did by asociation. It just made her think about the future that should've happened. The one that would've if things worked out the way they were suppose to. But of course, nothing did. Unless you got lucky. She sighed and looked back down toward the ground.
"Talking about anything else would be really good." Cho was sure that Keiko didn't understand why this subject put her in this mood, or at least she was almost positive she didn't. Either way she didn't want to talk about it.

Keiko was hurt and a little confused, but none the less, she did as Cho wished and changed the subject. So, seeing anyone? She elbowed her playfully, the way a friend would do to another when talking about boys. Keiko herself was looking for a boyfriend, but had no such luck so far, but maybe hearing about Cho's, more likely more active love life might cheer her up. SHe smiled at Cho and forgot about the past 5 minutes of awkwardness.

Cho couldn't help but laugh a little before shaking her head. "No I'm not seeing anyone. I've been avoiding the whole... boyfriend thing. At least for right now." Cho smiled a little and shrugged. For once Cho hadn't minded not having a boyfriend, it was actually nice. At least it was for now. Her mind had been on Cedric far too much to think about a new guy. "What about you?"

Keiko snorted at the thought. THen chucled a bit, saying HA! I wish, but since I moved her, she sliced her hand through the airfrom one side to teh other nada SHe sighed and looked over at Cho laughing, Mom and dad are so dissapointed that I haven't married yet, they think I am beyond, "the right age SHe muttered and blew some hair out of her eyes Just cause they married when mom was 24.. only 2 years difference! She threw her hands in the air, freaking out, whih made her look quite funy, she rarely did this, but she was feeling humourous today. Then she started laughing when she caught herself in a reflection of the window of a store. How ridiculous she looked!

Cho tried keeping a straight face as Keiko talked but once she threw her hands in the air Cho couldn't do that anymore. She started laughing and shaking her head, laughing even more once Keiko started laughing too. "I guess our parents are suppose to be annoying about things like that. You'll find someone soon though. You're too great of a person and too beautiful not too." Cho rolled her eyes in a joking around way before letting out another small laugh. "And if you don't... you can always just get a cat." Cho joked, a big smile on her face. "Then you could become one of those old ladies with all the cats because they never got married like their mother wanted them too. Yeah... I think that look would suit you well." She teased, making it obvious that she was only joking around.

Keiko continued joking with her cousin, Yeah, except, i would actually play with my cats... literally. Keiko meant that she was an animagus black cat. She nodded closing her eyes, mocking seriousness I can foresee a great friendships there...[b/] SHe pretended to look flattered really, do you really think so, that would really work for me, I dunno Cho, I might just hold a gallery with a banner that says"Come see cat lady Play With Ball Of Thread With Her Cats SHe smiled and laughed. She was falttered that Cho thought that she was pretty and a great person, people rarely said that kind of stuff out loud,

Cho laughed and shrugged. "I don't think the banner would really work... maybe one of those muggle flashing neon signs." Cho laughed again then looked in front of her as they walked. "Do you think our mums will ever stop pestering us about things like love lives? Because like I said, I sure don't want a boyfriend right now... I just need to stop thinking." Cho said the last part very quietly and more so to herself then to Keiko.

They will never stop being that way.[b/] She shook her head, I just hope that when i become a mom, if i become a mom, that I won't be too much like that Keiko nodded in agreement to the last part Cho said. She really needed to worry about her job now, she didn't need a love life now.
