Personality:
Hermione is, to most people, simply a know-it-all. She is an over-achiever never thinking she has done as well as she should, and it is not a secret that she has always been at the top of the year. She could perform spells from fifth year, that she shouldn't have known or mastered until seventh year.
When she was in her earlier years of Hogwarts, she is completely against breaking rules, and the most important thing to her was schoolwork. Now, however, she has grown a bit out of that stage.
Beneath all of this, those who know her best will know their is alot of insecurity and failure. Despite her cleverness, like everyone else, Hermione isn't perfect. She is horrible at lying, especially under pressure although if the situation is desperate she can do it.
Recently, Hermione is more scared than normal. Her confidence can be battered more easily than normal, and she tends to break down more easily. Despite this her temper can be on the edge quite a lot so it would be best not to tick her off or you might regret it.

Description:
Hermione has nice features but unlike the other girls in her year, she prefers to focus more on her school work than on her appearance so it is normally hidden behind her bushy hair. She does not care much what she looks like, as to her it is too much pressure to look beautiful everyday. In her earlier years her front teeth were rather large until she let Madame Pomfrey make it smaller and neater.
She has sparkling chocolate brown eyes when she is happy and if she is angry they tend to get a dangerous glint in them.In her fourth year, Hermione stunned a lot of people by for once looking her best. Her best friend, Harry Potter, who she loves more like a brother than anything, didn't even recognise her at first.
Hermione isn't completely fair-skinned but is rather tanned and more brown than her two best friends. She tends to turn red and heated if she is angry, embarrassed or shy.
History:
Hermione, being a muggle born, has no magical trace in her blood and two muggle parents who's profession are dentists. Hermione attended school from very young as a muggle, not knowing she was a witch, and was a year ahead of everyone else her age when she got her Hogwarts letter. She was elated. As she was a muggleborn, Professor Dumbledore had arrived to their home to explain how she was to get her school stuff and board the train. Over the Holidays Hermione took care to read and memorize all of her School books, and actually read a few extra. She did not want to know any less than her classmates at Hogwarts as she was a muggleborn.
She enjoyed especially reading the Hogwarts, a History and a few extra books on famous witches and wizards. She was amazed at a boy who was her own age, that defeated one of the darkest wizards ever known. On the Hogwarts express the first person she met was Neville Longbottom, who asked her to help him find his toad. She went around the compartments asking around and met up with two other first years, Ron Weasley and Harry Potter. As the year carries on she does not have many friends and spends most of her time in the Library, studying.
At the end of a Charms class on Halloween, which she had been paired with Ron Weasley, she heard him insulting her and immediately reduced to tears running off to the girls bathroom. She was torn up about it and stayed there alone, with the exception of a few girls coming in now and then, until a troll came in...and soon after Ron and Harry. They saved her that day, and she was thankful enough to take the fall for it when some of the Professors arrived on the scene. Her, Hermione Granger who hated getting into Trouble. It was then that they became friends. When they went after the Philosopher's stone, Hermione's attentiveness in schoolwork paid off as she helped them get through the devil's snare. Later on she solved a riddle her and Harry were confronted with.
In her second year Hermione, along with most of Hogwart's girls developed a crush on her Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Gilderoy Lockhart. Later on during an argument between the Gryffindor and Slytherin Quidditch teams ends with Ron getting cursed and Hermione discovering the name Mudblood. She is terribly hurt by it's meaning when Ron tells her what it was. Nearing Christmas she successfully brews a Polyjuice Potion which they needed to sneak into the Slytherin Common Room, but instead she takes on the appearance of a cat....in her human form, so Harry and Ron had to go on alone. After discovering the secrets of the Chamber of Secrets, she was petrified by the basilisk but Harry and Ron finds her research and they go into the Chamber themselves. Hermione was happy to see her two best friends again, and they her but later on during the feast she finds out end of year exams were canceled, which upset her as opposed to everyone else's reactions..
In her third year, Hermione gets a timeturner due to all of her classes. Hermione and Ron's relationship is put to a test when Hermione's new pet cat, Crookshanks, turns out as a threat to Ron's rat Scabbers. When she gets Harry's new Firebolt confiscated as a security measure, he and Harry ignore her for some time. It is only after Hagrid chides Ron for valuing his pets more than his friends, and informs him of Hermione's difficulty in coping with her studies combined with her loneliness after losing her best friends, that the two make amends. When Ron tells her that she won't have to help Hagrid alone, she breaks down in his arms. Later on in the year Harry and Hermione went back in time with Hermione's Timeturner and saved Buckbeak and Sirius Black, Harry's Godfather.
From the Beginning of her Fourth Year Hermione disapproves of the Triwizard tournament and fears for Harry's life when he is a part of it. She also develops feelings for Victor Krum, and this develops when he asks her to the Yule Ball. Ron gets incredibly jealous at this as she notices and accuses her of "fraternising with the enemy". She replied, angry and hurt, with telling him to ask her out first and not as a last resort. She too was a bit annoyed though when Ron seemed taken with Fleur Delacour who was part Veela. That year she discovered where the kitchens was and started S.P.E.W. as she did not agree to the way House Elves were treated.
The Holidays before her fifth year began were interesting. She made prefect, along with Ron, and becomes friends with Luna Lovegood, despite her thinking Luna's ideas are too unrealistic and wild, and Luna's opinion of her being that she was rather narrow-minded. Professor Unbridge, their DADA teacher greatly annoys her and so she, out of all the people, encourages Harry to form the DA, Dumbledore's Army where he taught them to defend themselves. Her, Ginny, Neville, Luna, Harry and Ron went to the Department of Mysteries when Harry sees Sirius being tortured, They went against Hermione's better judgment and Hermione was seriously injured but made full recovery.
Her sixth year was again interesting to say the very least. She was invited by Professor Slughorn to join the Slug Club. During Quidditch tryouts, she breaks the rules by hexing Cormac McLaggen so Ron would remain on the team. Later on, Ron, upon learning that Hermione had kissed Krum during her fourth year, tries to get back at her by dating housemate Lavender Brown, and Hermione retaliates by asking out Cormac McLaggen, but her plan fails and she goes back to cold-shouldering Ron. When Ron was poisoned she was greatly frightened and got back together with him. When he broke up with Lavender she was pleased. Nearing the end of their year when Harry went after a Horcrux he leaved his Felix potion with them to share with Ginny. It all resulted in Dumbledore's Death, something that everyone was affected by. Her and Ron, however, vow to always stay at Harry's side.

As Lexi reached the top of a spiraling staircase she could clearly see more stars here than from any other part of Hogwarts. It was the Astronomy Tower after all. Apart from that it was an excellent place to think...the fact that the idea of poisoning Lily Potter had come to her while she was here quite easily proved that. She smiled ruefully she remembered that she had hurt Gabriella, who she was good friends with and who was her cousin by doing that as well.
But Lily had deserved it...the one thing disturbing her slightly though was Narcissa adding extra poison. They had almost committed murder by doing that and it would've been Lexi's fault. Lily, she knew had been in the Hospital Wing unconscious for the past week...well considering it was only about five hours until the time Lily had gotten poisoned, a bit over a week. She glanced at her watch. It was nearly midnight.
Lexi felt rather proud that it had been her idea, but she hadn't really gotten any fun out of it. She hadn't seen any of Lily's brothers or friends to frustrate over it yet. It was good though knowing that she was even with Lily now. Lily had destroyed Lexi's relationship with Scorpius and Gaia permanently; in return Lexi had almost destroyed Lily.
Footsteps on the stairs she had previously been by came within hearing. She was now on the far end of the Tower so it sounded distant. She turned around to see who would emerge from the steps leading to the Tower. A lot of the time Lexi had came here there were couples… and she had went right back. Many seemed to see it as a romantic place at night, probably because of all the stars.
