Her hair is a very dark brown, but is lighter in the sun. It is rib length and strait. Sometimes even you might see a hint of blond in there.
Her mother is Chinese her father is an American. That's where she gets the brown hair and pale skin. Though the Asian gene is much more powerful than the American. It shows in Ping's eyes.
She is also a short 4'5"
History: Ping. A peasant girl of China. But the emperor saw something in her. Something that she betrayed.
Ping was a street girl in china. No parents no money no sight. She was playing ball one day with other kids from her village when she was pulled aside by palace guards. Her first thought was 'What did I do wrong?' She was brought in front of the emperor. That's when he asked her to be the guardian of the imperial dragon.
The imperial dragon is an important symbol for china, but muggles don't realize just how real it actually is. Ping wondered how this could be, but didn't ask. Only speak when spoken to. Obviously the emperor saw something special in her.
He actually saw what kind of powers she possessed.
Ping hesitantly agreed. She had no other life. The emperor provided her with clothes food and home. She could stroll wherever she wanted in the palace. She was considered to be in a very high position. But just two years ago Ping did something considered crime.
Ping helped and allowed the dragon to escape the palace. A new discovered power (ability to talk to animals) allowed the dragon to explain to Ping just how hard it was to be caged. Ping felt so much sympathy for the creature and created a plan to let it free.
After putting the plan in action, Ping realized what the consequences would be.
That night she asked one of the maids to help her flee China. The maid did willingly. They moved to London where the maid lived with her and helped her to learn English. That's when she got the letter.
She attended Hogwarts for one year. Her English always improving. She'd not yet been found by the chinese generals or the Emperor, but she did fall out of a window. During the summer she fell out a window causing amnesia. Now she can't remember anything about herself her life or the crimes she's commited.
Role Play Example: Ping finally arrived at home for the summer. She'd not seen Mei Mei since the beginning of the year. She'd told Ping that it was safer for her to stay at Hogwarts. God bless her soul.
Ping, with her suitcases felt her way up the stairs and into her room. It was high up. Two stories up and the window as always was open. Ping had just moved here last year, but had hardly had anytime to spend in it as it was off to school strait away. Ping left her suitcase at the door and as always she felt around the room. This way she could get a feel for it again. But forgetting about the open window she fell right through.
A shrill scream filled the air as Ping fell. Then there was a crash and Ping could remember no more.
Ping awoke. She opened her eyes but it didn't make a difference. She could tell she was in an unfarmilliar place, but she didn't know where, she didn't know what happened and she just didn't know who she was. She tried to move, but her head hurt, her left arm ribs and legs were all in casts. All she could do is lay there, questioning herself...
Other:
Ping is blind, so all her text books ar braille. Her writing is a tad messy and is definately not written strait. Her spelling is also off as she has written in chinese most of her life.
