Personality:Lucius could be considered very evil. He though, considers himself troubled. He was sent to Azkaban for being "troubled". He is probably the meanest to house elves. Lucius usually wears his robes. He also wears them with a green and white tie to take pride in his pure blood standings. In muggle clothing to hide though, he wears dark pants and a white dress shirt with a black sweater vest.
History: Lucius Malfoy was born in 1954 to the pure blood Abraxas Malfoy and and unknown pure blood witch. For his life Lucius was raised by his father only. Unknown by the wizarding world people think that Lucius's mother died shortly after Lucius was born. It was said that he has a squib sister, but she was erased from the family tree like most pure bloods do to their squib family members. By the time he was 3 he had his first sign of magic. He turned his toy into a snake. Wizarding parents said this was a bad sign, but Abraxas didn't believe this, but he was wrong. His son was heading down a dark and twisted path.
When Lucius turned 11 he was told he was going to go to Hogwarts. Being a pure blood he was accepted into the house of Salazar Slytherin. This was where in his 2nd year he met his future wife Narcissa "Cissy" Black. They became sweet hearts by his 4th year. When he was 18 and she 17 they married and were living in the Malfoy Manor. Lucius worked at the ministry of magic. In the ministry Lucius learned that some of his younger classmates had started a league called The ORder of the Phoenix. They were bent on ruining and destroying Voldemort. Originally Lucius wasn't a big fan of Voldemort himself, but as the years grew on he learned of blood traitors and mud bloods. He became more and more aware of The Dark Lord and he vowed to serve Voldemort and became a death eater. A year after this he found out from his wife Narcissa that she was to bear a child. He was displeased about this. Narcissa told him that it was sure to be a boy and after that there were to be no more children. When their child was born, it was a boy, and Lucius named him Malfoy. He was pleased that his wife had guessed correctly, because now the Malfoy name had an heir. Lucius tried to stay as far away from Malfoy though in the first few years, because he didn't want The Dark Lord to destroy his son and bring him to the Dark Side.
Many times Lucius had meetings in his study about The Dark Lord coming to power. He had told his wife the truth so nothing would happen to their relationship. A few times Voldemort himself came, usually apparating in and out of the room, but one night was different. Voldemort had glided through the front door and had told Lucius and his fellow death eaters that they were going to kill a child and his family. They were Lily and James Potter and their son Harry. When they arrived outside the house Lucius was told by the Dark Lord himself that he was going to put the dark mark upon the house. The minute the green sparks shot out of his wand the other Death Eaters were already in the house. Lucius apperated inside the living room and found the Lily Potter screaming. He saw the dead body of James Potter lying infront of the door. He headed towards where he saw Lily with her son Harry flead. He held his wand at the ready and was muttering Stupefy under his breath. Red shots fired off of his wand. Voldemort was close behind him and he was readying him self to shoot the death curse at Lily. At the next corner they found Lily cowering in the corner. Right before Lucius was going to yell Avada Kadavra Lily said something and Voldemort hit her with a killing spell. They then moved on to the little boy named Harry. They heard crashes in the room they were previously in and Voldemort sent a killing curse at Harry. Amazingly harry didn't die and Voldemort withered away. Turning he heard strange voices and Lucus desapperated into his manor. When he was there he ran straight to the bedroom. He awoke Draco in the process, but that didn't matter. He recounted the scenario to his wife and he shortly had to leave to have a few meetings with his fellow followers.
When Malfoy had come of age to go to wizarding school Lucius did not want him to go to Hogwarts. It would mean the Potter boy would be going unless his aunt and uncle didn't allow him to go. Draco went anyway though. Lucius was one of the Death Eaters that were sent to watch the house when Harry was home. His mother might have put that charm on him, but the minute the boy turned seventeen his protection will have ended. For the first five years of Draco's time at Hogwarts Lucius tried to stay as far away from Hogwarts as possible except for Draco's second year when he was attacked by a hippogriff. Also in his fourth year Lucius found that Voldemort was really alive.
During the last few months of Draco's fifth year Lucius had many meetings with the death eaters and they were deciding when to go to the ministry to destroy the prophecy. During that break in they found that Harry had already been there. and then during the battle he watched his sister-in-law kill Sirius Black. Lucius was just there he was battling other people and then he was captured. Lucius was sent to Azkaban for being a death eater. He was torn between running and staying put, he wanted to stay and fallow The Dark Lord. Lucius made Severus Snape swear that he would not let anything horrible happen to Draco, when he last saw Snape. When Lucius found that Malfoy became a Death eater he laughed and then started to worry. Narcissa worried too. Lucius promised Narcissa that he would protect Draco and he made the unbreakable vow. When Voldemort helped Lucius escape from Azkaban he fled to the only home he knew, the Malfoy Manor, but he found that Narcissa and Malfoy weren't there. He was told that they were at the Riddle house. When he finally reached there he found his wife and rejoiced that he was there.
Role Play Example: Okay. Although James didn't understand that Noelle's words were all lies and that she really missed him, she certainly did with his. Unlike Noelle, James was never good with hiding his true feelings. There were always little tells that she picked up along with his words. Things like saying 'um' and 'uh' were a dead giveaway. Hence why Noelle rarely used them. To hide her feelings.
And what exactly were Noelle's feelings towards the guy in front of her? Hell, even she didn't know. She liked him..A lot. And she knew that much. But she was confused. She didn't love him, at least, that's what she kept trying to convince herself of, but she did like him. But it was the being confused about everything part that kept her from saying anything.
Maybe that was it. The reason James didn't get that Noelle really missed him, loved him, and wanted him. She never said it. Being, well, Noelle..She had always been one to speak her mind no matter what the cost. She was raised where voicing your opinions were always a good thing. And Noelle usually did just that. Except when it came to James. And she knew right then that her lack of speaking up was the reason the boy would never get it. Oh great.
The brunette rolled her eyes at James' response to her not having time to miss him. Oh how that boy was so clueless at times. "Yea, not really." she said with a half-hearted smile, resisting the urge to just scream out that of course she had missed him. She always missed him. He just didn't know that. "But you've probably been busy with those other girlfriends of yours." she joked with a crooked smile on her face. Jeesh, boy, can't you get it already? Guess not.
Even though Noelle's mind was rushing with thoughts of how she missed and loved the Tucker boy, she couldn't help but geniunely grin at his words about Noelle's 'mansleeper' comment. That geniune smile was replaced with a fake one just moments after as he spoke about her being jealous and wanting him. Oh if only he knew. "In your dreams, buddy." she joked, faking a laugh and avoiding the boy's eyes. Well if that wasn't a dead giveaway to the boy then Noelle didn't know what was.
Friendship. Now that was one thing Noelle always seemed to understand. She wasn't the type of girl to have a million and one friends. She had a few and if they weren't enough she would make some more to fill in the gaps. The bubbly brunette seemed to love the comfort of those select few around her. She didn't need a boyfriend. She was independant. Better that way then to have to be jealous all the time over a guy, right? Right. At least that's what Noelle was trying to do. Jealousy always had a way of finding her when she was around James however. Gee, I wonder why.
As the boy's words started to escape his lips and then changed to a 'oh nevermind', Noelle knew there was more to the story. She knew he wanted to say more, but he wouldn't. And maybe the brunette's knowledge of how the guy was, was the reason she didn't push it. Instead she just laughed. A fake laugh. Unreal and completely meaningless. Yes, that definately seemed to be the trend with these two. Fake laughs and unmeaningful smiles.
Why they both didn't just get out their feelings and get it over with already was a mystery to Noelle. Maybe it was because of how they were before. How their relationship was before. Their friendship was almost destroyed after that. And quite honestly, Noelle didn't want to risk it again. Shocking for a girl who didn't really care what happened, huh? Yes, very.
But it was for the best. At least, that's what Noelle kept telling herself. It's for the best, Noelle. Friends is all that will ever be good between you two. she kept repeating in her mind. But she didn't believe it herself. No, Noellee knew that more was to come between the two. She just wasn't ready for it. Relationships were overrated anyways. Right? Right.
Why couldn't Noelle just put past her feelings? Get over him and move on with life? Why must everything be so d**n difficult? But that was life. Full of obstacles and problems preventing you from leading what people may call an 'easy' life. Nothing was easy. Noelle knew that from experience. But that didn't stop her from wishing everything was.
More words were heard from the direction of James' chair and Noelle's thoughts about things being for the best and life being so d**n difficult were interrupted. She turned her gaze back on him, this time letting her eyes meet his for a brief instant. "Yes, it's been so cool." she said with a slight smile. "What about you? Had a boring life without beautiful me to make things interesting?" Jeesh, conversation was so hard. Especially when Noelle tried to act casual.
Do you know what Noelle wanted? She wanted him to show her that he cared. That he wanted her in his life and not some other girl. She wanted him to say that he was the guy for her. Only him. And no one else. She wanted that movie-type romance. For the guy to wisk her away and tell her sweet words that made her feel like she was the only one around. Too bad James had never been that guy.
No, he was the friend. The flirt. The guy everyone knew could easily break hearts and tear a girl down. He was a charmer. But somehow his charm didn't involve the movie-romance love that Noelle wanted. If he knew this, he probably could do it. But for now, he didn't. They were friends. Just friends. Oh how Noelle hated it.
