INNER CITY PRESSURE
Blue water, not yellow brick, surrounds the Emerald City of Seattle. Cupped between the jagged Olympic Mountains to the west and the volcanic peaks of the Cascade Range to the east, the city sits on a narrow strip of land between Puget Sound and the 18-mile-long Lake Washington. Just north of down town these bodies are united by a system of locks and a ships canal feeding into Lake Union, which bisects the city. Frequent rains and mists keep the surroundings cleaner and greener than most other cities of similar size.
Seattle is beautiful to say the least, the trees are always lush and the ocean that surrounds the city are always blue, along with the Lakes, Seattle is a beautiful place to live and you’ll love it here. Come and see the Space Needle everyday outside your window it’ll take your breath away the views of this gorgeous city, Seattle isn’t only green lush trees it’s also known for it’s grunge scene back in the day, Seattle is where grunge pioneers like Nirvana and the Gits this was the city that they started off their careers in, I mean that’s pretty cool Mia Zapata was the like the first female grunge singer, she was amazing at it too and Seattle was also the place where her life was tragically cut short.
Seattle isn’t only known for its grunge scene back in the day, it’s also known for having a great college called Seattle University, Seattle U has a great Photography coarse and it’s basically a really great college if you into the arts, but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have courses for you to become things like nurses and that type of stuff, because it does quite good ones in fact. The shopping in Seattle is nothing to sneeze at it’s got store like BCBG, H&M, Chanel, Chloe, Betsy Johnson, basically stores that could make most drown in a pool of their own drool haha. Also you’ll have great job opportunities, but be warned it’s not a warm and fuzzy climb to the top, it’s just as ruthless and back stabbing as it is in any major city and if you break down and cry or whatever your boss will most likely fire you because they think you can’t handle your job. So don’t get the very wrong idea that this is a small town in Wyoming, it’s big and its hard, it’s cloudy and gloomy and the suicide rate is like higher than other cities out there which is why Seattle was dubbed The City Of Suicides, but it’s still one of the best places to live in the world and hey it can’t rain all the time. I can assure you that you’ll have the time of your life in the Emerald City.Is there such a thing as the human heart, now there's the better question.
Well, if you listen closely, you can hear it breaking.
